Backstage with Poets&Quants: A STEM MBA Admissions Event is for prospective students interested in exploring the advantages of an MBA with a STEM designation and getting an in-depth look inside the admissions process at top programs.

STEM MBA shows that students know how to combine their technical, practical, and educational experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with the business and leadership skills offered by a traditional MBA. STEM-designated MBA programs are the most important evolution in business school curricula in a generation, appealing particularly to international graduates, who qualify for up to 36 months’ work in the United States post-graduation with a STEM degree (versus only a year with a traditional MBA).

Through a series of panels, interviews, and small-group chats, participants will get real insights and advice to help with their application decision-making process. At Backstage with Poets&Quants: A STEM MBA Admissions Event, you will:

  • Hear from Admissions Directors about what they look for in candidates and how you can stand out above the crowd;

  • Learn the benefits of a STEM degree, including program requirements;

  • Engage with Career Services teams to learn about career prospects and how you can translate your degree into your dream job;

  • Hear from alumni on how they translated their degree into a fulfilling career.

This event will help demystify STEM-designated MBA programs for the curious applicant and help you find the right fit. Map your way to admissions into a top STEM MBA. Come Backstage with Poets&Quants!
