The college search process can be a very exciting – and sometimes overwhelming – time for both you and your student and, as a family member or friend, you can play an important role in helping put your student in the driver’s seat.

So what should someone be looking for in a college or university? Yes, it’s about getting a great education, but it’s also about finding a place to have new experiences and explore different ways of thinking. It’s where students will learn more about themselves, their aspirations, and what they want their future to hold.
