 COMMONBOND-1

What will I do starting in your industry/your organization?

We hire MBAs into a variety of roles and functions, including: Product Management, Strategy, Finance, Marketing and Business Development/Sales, just to name a few!

What does your organization / industry in general look for in new hires/students from MBA programs?

Roll-up-your-sleeves mentality – we’re a small team and everyone gets their hands dirty to get stuff done - Analytical, but doesn’t get bogged down in “analysis paralysis” – has a strong bias for action and is results-focused - Ownership mindset – ability to plan, execute, assess and optimize

Tell me about how much flexibility I’ll have in creating my career path? (For example, is there a set path, is it entrepreneurial, many options, few paths?)

You are expected to make an immediate impact in the job for which you were hired, and should expect your role to continue to grow and expand as the business does

We are a growing startup, so there can be opportunities to pivot roles. Employees have transitioned from Operations to Product Management and from Sales to General Management, as a few examples.

Is it possible in this job / industry to make a successful career work alongside other activities and interests such as hobbies or family life? How?

Absolutely! CommonBond employees enjoy a range of hobbies - including playing in bands, traveling, flamenco dancing, rock-climbing, hiking, just to name a few. - We also have many individuals with families - Successful employees deliver results and have strong ability to prioritize based on impact.

What kind of advice can you offer a new MBA admit who wants to work at your company? Tips for the process of landing an offer.
